PostgreSQL service connection problemDiggBlinkRedditDeliciousTechnoratiquestion by RPK | Easy I modified one of the .CONF files located in the PostgresqlData Folder. I just changed the amout of shared_Buffer from 1000 to 100 and Max_Connections from 100 to 2. Re: PostgreSQL service connection problemreply by Bejaan I had something similliar happen when I upgraded to 8.01 from a release candidate. (win xp, SP2) I don't remember exactly what the problem ended up being, but I seem to remember that it was related to an incorrect path statement, or a service not being started properly or the like. I'd suggest you check all your config files and make sure any services are running properly. Re: PostgreSQL service connection problemreply by RPK I checked the settings of the .CONF files. The settings were same. Where it stores the PATH and OWNER PERMISSIONS? Got a PostgreSQL Question?Just Sign Up and ask the top PostgreSQL experts! |
