Programming a ForumDiggBlinkRedditDeliciousTechnoratiquestion by ellievr | Easy Could anyone please please help me, i made a photography website for a friend and he needs a forum / blog on it where he can post up daily comments about his travels. But i'm not sure how to do it. Im just a beginner in the programming world. Re: Programming a Forumanswer by Srirangan Why don't you use a open source free blogging software - Wordpress. The website is: http://wordpress.org/ Re: Programming a Forumreply by ellievr I tried that, but it takes over the whole site. :-/ thing is i've already got an existing website, and in the links menu i want a 'blog' link, which links to the seperate blog page...(dunno if im making any sense here...) Is this at all possible? Re: Programming a Forumreply by Srirangan The way to overcome this is to install the blog in a sub directory - domain/blog and link it through the main site. Re: Programming a Forumreply by Srirangan And yes, you will need a database. You will most probably also required a server side scripting language such as PHP enabled on your web host. Re: Programming a Forumreply by ellievr thanks so much for your help, really appreciate it. Here goes!!
