Slow input in XP ms dosDiggBlinkRedditDeliciousTechnoratiquestion by frankzzsword | Easy Well I dont know but I use Gw Basic in XP and it has slow input for no purticular reason, I tried using C++ and it works kewl. Re: Slow input in XP ms dosreply by Srirangan Does GW Basic run slow in full screen mode too? Unlike Windows 98, Windows XP doesn't have native MS DOS support. I believe Win XP uses a type of MS DOS emulator. Re: Slow input in XP ms dosreply by Bejaan In Windows 2000, Windows NT and Windows XP DOS is supported only through the cmd.exe command that invokes an MS DOS shell. This is not your routine DOS environment but just a shell for the OS that support DOS 'like' commands. I believe that's what Sri meant by 'DOS emulator'. Re: Slow input in XP ms dosreply by frankzzsword Actually the problem was simple, I searched for 3-4 hours and found a solution, right click on the dos file > properties > Misc (TAB) and Idle Sensitivity Should be High.
